Jun / 2004 - Zapp is already present in 3 continents: South and North America, Europe and Asia.

More than 50 organizations from 3 continents are using Zapp to send and receive applications worldwide. Companies from Argentina, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Germany, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Mongolia, Slovakia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, USA and Vietnam are already benefiting from the Zapp end-to-end collaborative platform, saving money, time and trees!

Following are some quotes from a few of those organizations:

"In the field of international education, fast access to accurate student information can make the difference between meeting and missing a deadline. The Zapp online application system has helped SMG close the gap between our network in the States and our student applicants across the world and the results have been an astonishing reduction in the time it takes to arrange many of our programs."
- Jordan Nagle, Director, SMG - Student Management Group (an American Receiving Organization that processes over 2500 applications in the USA)
"We at ERDT love ZAPP! The system has opened new horizons for ERDT in the way our organization and our overseas partners handle student applications and other student data, such as flight schedules. The first impressive thing is speed: once the student has completed the application, the application literally moves at the speed of light from our overseas partners to ERDT's main office and then from us out to our placement field staff. The long-term savings in copying, mailing, storage, and general administrative overhead are huge. Apart from upgrading our internet browers (which is free!), we have not had to make any internal software or hardware upgrades in order to run the ZAPP online system. Then there is the support provided by the TGMSoft customer service staff. We have never worked with a software company that is as helpful and as fast in implementation as TGMSoft. If you are not on ZAPP, you are a dinosaur. You know what happened to them. Get with it."
- Colin Churchill, Executive Director, ERDTShare! (An American receiving organization that brings more than 700 applications)
"I was very surprised on how fast the application is sent to the RO. Real cool!"
- Raphaela Köring, Program manager, GLS (A German language institute and also a large Sending Organization)
"Zapp Customer Service is just wonderful!"
- Cris Saito, Operations Manager, STB (The largest Brazilian sending organization)

Apr / 2004 - Another great ZAPP innovation: Students are now able to insert audio and video clips into their application, as well as photos!!!!!!

Zapp has now made another great breakthrough: Students will now be able to insert not only photos but also audio and video clips into their online application. This allows a whole new world of possibilities for students to introduce themselves to potential host families. Having a 3-minute video of a student playing piano or playing soccer is far richer than the most talented writer can put into words. Potential host family (and schools!) will be able to see and hear students interacting with friends, family, etc. There is no limit to the creativity that inserting audio and video clips into the Zapp online application will bring!

Studies in every direction indicate that broadband will soon be as ubiquitous as the internet itself. Very soon videos over the web will be as popular and accessible as photos are nowadays. For Zapp, this is already today! We offer a complete software and hardware infrastructure for students to upload video and audio files and for potential host families to play them.
